Please join us at the Ohana Fest, a zero waste festival on Deep Root Farm (31 Tabor Hill Road) this thursday through sunday! We will be tabling with information and tie dying our Dance for Resilience shirts. All of the proceeds will go toward our medical services and sustainable livelihood projects, to give women and children the opportunities they deserve to improve their health and the health of the land. We will have tons of local bands, yoga sessions, group meditations, talks about #sustainability, art installations, fire spinning, a tree planting ceremony and so much more!
We will hold a meditation in dedication to the recipients of Ibutwa & all of the people living in the Congo. As a group, we will openly talk about the mental thought patterns which we are ready to release and leave behind in the past. When we limit ourselves with self doubt, we hinder our personal growth & progress. Healing is collective and with the help from our brothers and sisters, anything is possible!
We will be sending Congo all of the love that is generated at Ohana in the hopes that our awareness raising efforts inspire more people in the Vermont area to get involved with the #conflictfree movement. Photos to be posted soon :)
